She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril and Bettie; and her sister May Kjolhede Johnson. She is survived by: her brother David of Roanoke, VA; and her husband Larry of Ankeny. She is also survived by numerous cousins and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
