He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ausan and Clara Ausan (Solbak); and his siblings, Jim Ausan, Ferdinand Ausan and Florence Gulbranson.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Julie, Lori and Lisa; his wife Sharon Ausan of Howard; his sister Carol Uthe; his children, Joel Ausan, Julie Ware (Terry), Lori Ellingson (Kyle) and Lisa Moose (Tim); his grandchildren, Amanda Cohoon, Allison Gioffredi (Kory), Abbigail Ware, Emily Ellingson, Austin Ellingson, Caleb Ausan, Ella Ausan and Cameron Moose; and his great grandchild Mylee Davis.
In his memory, donations will be used towards Joe's memorial and headstone.
