He is survived by: his children, John Mataya (Sutton), Mandy Pietig (Todd) and Jennifer Sawyer (Zach); his grandchildren, Foster, Kai Mataya, Alex, Austin, Maxton Pietig, Chloe, Beckett and Ashtyn Sawyer; and his siblings, Barb (Segelke), Marcia Pickell (Mike) and Mike Mataya.
