We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2022, Jon Kevin Ward (Ankeny, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Marcella Ward (Frye); his wife Laura Ward; and his brother Jeff Ward. He is survived by: his father William Ward; his sons, Nicholas (Janelle) and Nathan Ward; his grandson Cruz Ward; his brother Jim Ward (Sue); and his nephew Alex Ward (Courtney). He is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the church and Animal Lifeline of Iowa, in loving memory of Jon.

“Sorry to read about Jon’s death. Was not aware of it until I saw the obituary at Golf Galaxy this past Friday night. I got to know him these past few years from visits to Galaxy, talking shop, and golf clubs, and even took a few lessons. He was always so positive and friendly, a real credit to Galaxy, to golf, and to those who got to know him. I will miss him. I will offer a Mass for him and keep you in my prayers.
