He was predeceased by: his father Lyle Clark. He is survived by: his mother Sandra Clark (Scott); his wife Dannette; his sons, Jacob and Austin; and his brothers, Jeff and James.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of his cousin, Junior Clark who was the same age as John at his passing when they were kids.
