He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Voster and Liddia Voster (Janssen); his parents-in-law, J. D. and Vercie Webb; and his sister Vonis Voster-Ramsey.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Webb; his children, Robin Voster (Phil Plourde) of Cedar Falls, Regina Hatzinger (Matt) of Wilmar, Minn., Ryan Voster of Fort Dodge, Kimberly Isburg (Sam) of Des Moines and Crystal Voster of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Erik Plourde, Jack Isburg, Henry Isburg and Grace Hatzinger; his sisters, Jeanne Loring (Larry) of Ankeny and Judy Hite (Wayne) of Delores; and his brother-in-law Chuck Ramsey of Denver, Colo.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Following retirement from Bobalee, John was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, and he spent his final six years bravely fighting as the disease gradually took away his ability to get around and communicate with family and friends.
