He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Cutler and Gladys Cutler (Gindt); his son Jonathan D. Cutler; his sister Carol Wroten (Leslie); and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Wynn and Gary Bienfang.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy of Luana; his son Chris (Susan); his granddaughters, Elizabeth and Kaylee; and his siblings, Vince (Lauretta) and Judy Bienfang. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
