He is survived by: his son Jerry Elwood Jr. (Shawna) of Ankeny, Iowa; his stepsister Bonnie Allison of Des Moines; and his grandchildren, Zackery Elwood, Skyler Elwood and Justin Farnsworth (Mackenzie).
