He is survived by: his wife Susan Diehl; his sister Piper; his children, Jessica Belloma (Adam), Lisa Mitchell Johnson and Ken Mitchell; his granddaughters, Kailey Johnson and Raven West (Korben); his great grandchild Willow West (Piper West); and his siblings, Ed Mitchell, Kathy DeCarlo (Pat), Chris Mitchell (Debbie), Shane Mitchell (Diane) and Liz Curtis (Jeff).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Lutheran Church of Hope in Ankeny.
