He is survived by: his parents, Zachary Matthew and Krystin Nichol Thein (Smith); his grandparents, Mike, Peggy Thein of Dyersville, Iowa, Kevin and Hasi Smith of Batavia, Illinois; his great-grandparents, Joan, Jim Walters of Guttenberg, Iowa, Larry and Geri Smith of Batavia, Illinois; his uncles, Jordan Thein (Carly) of Dyersville, Jake Thein (Laura) of Ankeny and Jordan Smith (Anastasia) of Chicago; and his cousins, Sawyer, Molly, Hadley, Luke and Bryson.
