She was predeceased by: her parents, Emile Matthiesen and Leah Matthiesen; her husband John Larson; her son-in-law Michael Mooberry; and her siblings, Harry Matthiesen, Fern Stoltz, Gladys Johnson, Catherine Seagren, Mirriam Triggs, Homer Matthiesen and Carolyn Matthiesen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sonja Mooberry and Janet Briggs (Michael); her grandchildren, Thomas Briggs (Angela Berenz) and Laura Hempel (Matthew); her stepgranddaughters, Michelle Mooberry and Pam Noack (Tom); her great grandchildren, Cameron Briggs, Caitlyn Briggs, Julia Hempel and Ethan Hempel; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ashley Vielhauer (Zach), Riley McCombs, Joah Noack and Justus Noack.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
