It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gayle Laughman (Ankeny, Iowa), born in Runnells, Iowa, who passed away on February 18, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Laughman and Irene Laughman; and his siblings, Donna Dehner and Lanny Laughman. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hopkins; his children, Shelley Brent (Kevin), Melinda Bish, Rodney Laughman (Kelly) and Todd Laughman (Beckie); his pets, Spike and Stella; his grandchildren, Adam Ayers (Iris), Brodey Laughman, Abbie Toney (Ryan), Courtney Anderson (Curtis), Kelsey Laughman and Sophia Laughman; his great grandchildren, Jackson Toney, Dean Anderson and Malcolm Corwin; and his siblings, Phyllis Clark, Bonnie Welch and Jay Laughman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Unity Point Hospice – The Taylor House in Des Moines, IA and to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
