It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Henderson of Ankeny, Iowa, born in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Thomas and Dorothy-Jean Henderson (Boyd); and his siblings, Linda Henderson and Kirk Henderson. He is survived by: his wife Linda June Brooks of Ankeny; his children, Teresa Fisher (Mark) of Maxwell, Brad Henderson (Joan) of Las Vegas, NV, Alan Forbes (Kristi) of Waterford, WI and Bret Henderson (Kelly) of Panama City, FL; his grandchildren, Mallory Lankford (Josh), Justin Lintz (Darcy Doty), Douglas Lintz (Kalah), Trevor Henderson (Alexis Adler), Grace Henderson, Parker Forbes, Olivia Henderson, Sydney Forbes, Britney Subia, Jacob Subia, Caleb Subia and Madison Subia; his great grandchildren, Braelyn, Gannon, Mallorie, Jackson, Laken, Kinleigh, Aliyah, Bentleigh, Piper, Braelynn, Kyrie, Logyn, Avery, Jayde, Finn and Fisher; and his brothers, Paul Henderson (Francy) of Windsor, CO and Dennis Henderson (Denise) of Nevada.
