He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Bolte and Florence Bolte; his siblings, Robert and Shirley; and his children, Lori Muehlenthaler and Curt Bolte.
He is survived by: his wife Ginger; his grandchildren, Crystal Muehlenthaler, Brandon Bolte (Kate) and Brett Bolte; his children-in-law, Kim Bolte and Mark Muehlenthaler; his nephew Robert; his nieces, Vicki and Michelle; and his great grandchild Jackson.
The family welcomes flowers, but would appreciate memorial contributions to be made to North High School's athletics program in Des Moines to support their football and/or wrestling.
