She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Penick and Grace Penick; and her brother James Penick. She is survived by: her grandson Max; her children, Jeff Comstock of Ankeny, Deanna Comstock (Paula) of Elkhart and Marc Comstock (Tonya) of Hartford; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Comstock Jr. of Des Moines, Michael Comstock of Ames, Maxwell Comstock of Carlisle and Geneva Wadle of Hartford; her siblings, Joyce Penick, Sharon Saunders (Jan) and Dennis Penick (Angie); and also Zoe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and several friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carlisle Dollars for Scholars. A second option would be to donate to The Walk to End Alzheimer's under Team Never Forget Eva Mae or join the team and walk with us in September.
