Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Eugene Raphael Snyders of Ankeny, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 86, on January 11, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raphael Snyders and Phyllis Snyders; his former wife Deanna Zahrli Snyders; his sister Joyce Titus; and his brothers-in-law, Norman Titus and Jim Franke.

He is survived by: his children, Gina Snyders (Adil), Cathy Gray (Dave), Terri Crumley (Tim), Jeff Snyders (April) and Bill Snyders; his siblings, Bonnie Franke, Don Snyders (Peggy) and Phil Snyders (Eva); his grandchildren, Riley Gray (Emma), Patrick Gray (Whitney), Mary Gray, Evan Gray, Ian Crumley, Ella Crumley, Sophie Snyders, Luke Snyders and Yasmine Snyders; and his great grandchildren, Eberlinn, Adalee, Macallan, Weylin and Finleann Gray. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (7075 Ashworth Rd, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery (34025 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adel, IA 50003).
