We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2023, at the age of 85, Esther Gonnerman (Ankeny, Iowa), born in Waterloo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Hoffman and Anna H. Hoffman (Smidt); her husband LaVerne Virgil Gonnerman; and her brother Paul. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Gonnerman (Brenda), David Gonnerman (Robyn), Darla Green (Dennis) and Denise VanderMeyden (Jeff). She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be directed to the family in memory of Esther.
