He is survived by: his parents, Steve Johnson and Marlene Johnson of Ames, IA; his sister Amy; his brother-in-law Paul; his nephew Joshua; and his nieces, Kaylee and Lily of Salem, VA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (502 Douglas Ave, Ames, IA 50010). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (610 15th St, Ames, IA 50010).
