She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil J. Reinking and Elsie Reinking (Puttmann); her husband Raymond D. Ehlers; and her son Richard. She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Sloan (John) of Boise, Idaho; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Ehlers of Park City, Utah; her daughter Rebecca Neal (Terry) of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Kozminski (Dan), Christina Sloan-Heggan (Andrew), Haley Ehlers, Jaron Ehlers, Haley Neal, Cole Whitaker, Adam Neal, Riley Whitaker and Noah Neal; and her great grandchildren, Luke Kozminski, Mark Kozminski and Philippa Heggan.

“I remember your mom and grandma with great affection. Born in 1945, I was a kid when she was a lovely teenager. I saw her when visiting my grandparents, her Uncle and Aunt, Roy and Clara Puttmann. She explained that since she had green eyes she could see in the dark like a cat! That made quite an impression! My sister, Sharon, and I visited her once in Ankeny years ago.
