She was predeceased by: her parents, Merritt Cafferty and Mary Cafferty (Anthony); her husband Alvin Knittig; her daughter Linda; and her siblings, Gladys Anderson, Minnie Boner, Leota Kelly, Beulah McClure, Iola Staley, Violet Stamp, Dale Cafferty and Lyle "Bud" Cafferty.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Hicks of Ankeny and Dennis Knittig of Minneapolis; her grandchildren, David Knittig (Cathi) of St. Paul, MN and Jane Rosenberger of Deephaven, MN.; her great grandchildren, Meryl Rosenberger and Nolan Rosenberger of Deephaven, MN.; and her brother Loren Cafferty of Phoenix, AZ..
