He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Tegeler and Norma Tegeler (Loeffelholz); his father-in-law Jerry B. Sumpter; and his son Jason Tegeler. He is survived by: his pets, Duke, Willy, Dusty and Benny; his wife Renee Sumpter; his children, Nicole Edwards (John) and Kyle Tegeler (Sarah); his mother-in-law Helen Sumpter; his grandchildren, Jaden Tegeler, Logan Tegeler, Nolan Edwards, Brynlie Tegeler and Levi Tegeler; his siblings, Darrell Tegeler (Susan), Diane Lindauer (Ron) and Debra Biermann (Doug); and his sister-in-law Cheryl Brown (Randy).
