She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Michael McAninch and Dora Hawk McAninch; her children, Billie Roberts Neff, Judi Bagley (Dharl), Dorothy Elaine Cassady (Arnold), Jim Hudson (Cindy), Jan King (Ron Barker), Ron Hudson (Norly), Lorrie Hudson-Bjorgo (Mike), Wanda Hudson, Rex Hudson (Stacie) and Tami Counts (Tim); her sister-in-law Pat McAninch; her husband John Hudson; her children-in-law, Jerry Roberts, Al Neff, Jerry Koder, Rod King and Carol Hudson; her granddaughters, Teresa Gadberry and Shelly Bagley; her great grandchildren, Gage Koder and Maggie McClaskey; her granddaughter-in-law Rebekah Bagley; and her siblings, Berniece Campbell, Charlie, George, Paul, Mike, Gene, Clyde, Mac, Rex and Dick McAninch. She was also cherished by 33 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren; 68 great, great grandchildren; and 1 great, great, great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Dorothy's honor to Suncrest Hospice in Ankeny.
