He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Davidson and Caroline Davidson (Myers); his parents-in-law, Charles (Lindy) and Linda Brown; his siblings, Tom Davidson, Karen Phillips, Delores Stuve, Mary Davidson and Cheryl Wheeler; and his granddaughter Preslea Reimer.

He is survived by: his wife Charla Davidson of Ankeny, IA; his daughters, Wendee Day (John Bainter) of Ankeny, IA and Hollie Davidson of Ankeny, IA; his grandchildren, Devon Bucher (Rachel), Tanner Bucher (Tiffany), Baylie Bucher and Jackson Empey; his great grandchildren, Karl Bucher, Alixander Bucher, Taylor Davis, Raegyn Davis, Ryatt Davis and Rhynn Davis; his siblings, Ed Davidson (Bonnie), Kathy Davidson (Scott Slater) and Barb Wetzel (John); and his sisters-in-law, Jodi Jones (Jack), Val Fitch (Randy) and Kim Constable (Randy).
