It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don William Ott (Ankeny, Iowa), born in Saint Lucas, Iowa, who passed away on February 22, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ott and Margaret Ott; his brother Steve Ott; his son-in-law Cliff Ryan; and his granddaughter Dyamond Ott.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Ott; his children, Denise Simpkins (Tim) of Ankeny, IA, Dennis Ott (Sharon) of Ankeny, IA, David Ott (Diane) of Ankeny, IA, Deanne Ryan of Bradenton, FL, Donna Osman (Tim) of Kenosha, WI, Diane Hustedt (Steve) of Ames, IA, Debra Moller (Johnny) of Des Moines, IA, Danelle Rutledge (Bob) of Longmont, CO and Danette Ott (Jonathan Curtin) of Santa Barbara, CA; his grandchildren, Shanna (Wil Simpkins), Dylan (Danielle Ott), Dallas Ott, Clayton (Sable Ryan), Daphne Osman, Halei, Sydney, Tate, Dane, Trent (Emmy Hustedt), Cameron (Kaleb Randel) and Drew (Eden Rutledge); and his siblings, Shirley Schmidt (Del), Mary Whitmore (Greg), Floyd Ott (Laurie), Jean Ott (Mary Ann), Ken Ott (Carol) and Jim Ott. He is also survived by eight children.
