She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Schlenker and Gladyce Schlenker; her siblings, Eldon Schlenker, Karl Schlenker and Marilyn Bauer; and her son-in-law Rick Dakovich.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Chambers; her children, Jeff Chambers (Cindy), John Chambers (Kelly), Karl "Kype" Chambers (Jenni) and Jill Dakovich (Rick); her grandchildren, Chace (Paulina), Chaz (Rachel), Chayden, Chyla, Katelyn Pagliai (Tyler), Mikaela, Kylee, Alissa Kleywegt (Justin), Josh, Joel, Jacob Dakovich and Jacey Dakovich; and her great grandchildren, Bryar Pagliai, Elena Chambers and Reid Kleywegt.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ankeny Funeral Home (1510 W 1st St, Ankeny, IA 50023). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
