He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Hampton and Gladys Hampton (Stater); his siblings, Ronnie Hampton and Patty Shaw (Hampton); his son Shawn Hampton; his wife Janet Hampton; his sister Jacqueline Schmaltz (Jerry); his sons, Rod Leach (Judy), Richard "Dick" Boxx-Hampton (Mary) and Jason Hampton; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Reeves (Dan), Danielle Boxx-Hampton (Daniel), Nicole Boxx-Hampton, Ryan Bischoff, Nick Leach (Haleigh), Amanda Leach, Cody Hampton and Alex Boxx-Hampton. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
