He is survived by: his wife Donna of Ankeny; his children, Jeff Winders (Emily) of Grimes and Jamie Ross (Rick) of Mitchellville; his stepson Jason Hurst (Emily) of White Lake, Michigan; his sister Cheryl Dykes of Des Moines; his sister-in-law Wendy Winders of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Connor Winders (Lauren) of Des Moines, Kaylin Thiele (Trey) of Des Moines, Heather Ross of Portland, Brian Ross of Des Moines, Katie Ross of Des Moines, Bade, Ethan and Julia Hurst of White Lake, Michigan; and his great grandchild Titus Thiele of Des Moines.
