She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Ball and Edyth Ball (Lister); her husband Bill Burkland; and her sister Greta Bata. She is survived by: her children, William "Andy" Burkland (Emilia) and Nancy Carley (Mike). She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous extended family.
