She was predeceased by: her father William Deneff. She is survived by: her mother JoAnn Deneff (Harry) of Aurora, Colorado; her husband Bruce Mehlhop of Saylor Township, Iowa; her children, Christine of Johnston, Iowa and Brian of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and her siblings, Constance Tice of Durham, Pamela Barella (Richard) of Aurora, Colorado, Christopher Deneff (Trudy) of Providence and Michael Deneff (Wendy) of Fort Collins, Colorado. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; and 16 great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Luke the Evangelist Church or the Christ Our Life Catholic Conference.
