He is survived by: his mother Debbie Schmidtberger (Edmunds); his uncle Buddy; his children, Ashley Dawn and Austin Damian of Des Moines; his close friends, Corey and Kara; his child Ashely Schmidtberger of Des Moines; his grandson Thomas Lynn; his sister Stacy (Nate Ross); his nieces and nephews, Isabella of Ankeny, Iowa., Gavin of Ankeny, Iowa. and Madalyn of Ankeny, Iowa.; his grandmother Rosalie Schmidtberger of Marion, Kansas.; his aunts and uncles, Melvin Honeyfield of Marion, Paula Edmunds (Nancy Edmunds), Becky (Brad Vannocker), Lori (Pat Loney) and Mike (Brenda Schmidtberger); and also Debbie (Barney Bayer) of Cedar Rapids.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ankeny Funeral Home & Crematory (1510 W 1st St, Ankeny, IA 50023).
