He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Polich and Eva Polich; his grandmother Ida "Nona" Romitti; his stepfather Lynn Rathbun; his brother Joe, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Stephen Paul and John Evans.

He is survived by: his wife Deb; his children, Joe Polich (Jamie Diner) and Danielle Murray (Matthew); his sister Pam Lewis (Jim); his stepsons, Robert Edwards (Crystal) and Willard Cannon (Jamie); his father-in-law James Connelly; his grandchildren, Eno Polich, Cheyenne Elswick, Jessica Edwards, Dallas Stanley, James Edwards, Robert Jonas Edwards, Dylan Edwards, Kara Kiesling, Edwin and Abel Cannon; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Pippa Claybaugh, Andrew Streeter, Rayann Elswick, Onna Long, Ace, Minni Mae King and Khloe Kiesling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
