With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan Chandler of Ankeny, Iowa, born in Osceola, Iowa, who passed away on November 8, 2021 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Eldon and Shirley Ann Chandler (Garner); and his sister Ronda Jo Chandler. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lee Frazier; his grandchildren, Ruth Caroline, Lincoln Knox and Emmie Leigh; his children, Kenton Chandler (Jessica), Kathleen Ernst (Phillip) and Ryan Chandler; his siblings, Dean Chandler (Kristi) and Sandy Duckworth (Alan); and his grandchildren, Ruth Caroline Ernst, Lincoln Knox Chandler and Emmie Leigh Chandler. He is also survived by brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Dan's honor to the Chariton Volunteer Fire Department or cards may be sent to the family at 1108 SW 46th St., Ankeny, Iowa, 50023.
