He is survived by: his wife Martha Sampson (Sweeney) of Ankeny; his family Butchart Gardens; his daughters, Chelly Toney (Dennis) of Colo and Cherene Sadek (Mike) of Bemidji, MN.; his brother Gary Wilson (Tina) of Edeaton, NC.; his stepchildren, Tammy Gardner (Gary) of Nevada, Todd Sampson (Carolyn) and Sara Sampson of Story City; and his pet Piper.
