It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles R. Vry of Ankeny, Iowa, who passed away on July 22, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry and Gertrude (Wiese); his brother Dale Vry; and his sister-in-law MaryAnn Vry. He is survived by: his wife Sharon McGowan; his children, Annette Queck (Andy) of Bryant, AR, Alan Vry (Michelle) of Runnells, IA, Andrew Vry (Tawnya) of Mingo, IA and Rhonda Bills (Rich Dervin) of Altoona, IA; his grandchildren, Travis Queck (Amanda), Austin Queck, Kylie Barnes (Scott), Tyler Vry, Kathryn Vry, Melany Vry, KJ Bills and MacKenzie Bills; his great grandchildren, Bodhi Barnes, Ripley Barnes, Rowdy Barnes and Laykin Quest; and his siblings, John Vry (Janet), Ralph Vry and Elaine Vry.
