Charles Moses Russell Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Douglas and Arcie Bell Russell; and his daughter Corrinne Sledge Russell. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Mary Bell Kernes, Linda Kay Trisler of Des Moines, Sarah Ann Taylor of Houston, MS, Grace Lynn Chittenden (Jerry) of Indianola, Robert Sledge, Roger Sledge of Ankeny and Randy Sledge of Colorado; and his sister Betty Faye Trentham of Pontotoc, MS. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa.
