He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eldridge and Florence Eldridge; his former wife Judy Eldridge of Des Moines, Iowa.; his son Scott Eldridge; and his brothers, George Eldridge and Robert Eldridge.
He is survived by: his wife Freda Eldridge; his daughter Carol Eldridge; and his grandchildren, Haley Terrell, Seth Terrell, Eve Terrell, Emily Eldridge and Amy Eldridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Church of Christ in Ankeny or the Isaak Walton League.
