He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Evans and Virginia Evans (Tolle); his grandparents, Peter, Wilber and Althea Evans; his stepmother Coleen Evans; his stepsister Michelle Jenney; and his friend Joe Snyder.
He is survived by: his former wife Susan Morrison; his children, Mason Evans of Des Moines and Payton Evans of Des Moines; his sister Julie York (Lee) of Cedar Rapids; his niece Jessica Fairbanks (Damien) of Vinton, Iowa; and his great-nephews, Dallas, Eli and Kinnick Fairbanks.
