He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ballard and Erma Ballard; his son Kirk; and his wife Carole. He is survived by: his siblings, Gerald "Jetter", Orville "Bub", Duane "Stoney" and Naomi "June"; his daughters, Julie Shelquist (Bob), Diane Petterson (Keith) and Nancy Tutor; and his grandchildren, Katy Loutsch (Justin), Lindsay Norland (Ken), Courtney Huston (Kiel), Ryan Petterson (Tasha), Meredith Weston (Reed) and Sarah-Rose Ballard. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
