She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard G Goemaat and Pearl Goemaat (Pettyjohn) of Lovilla; her husband Harold; her siblings, Iverna DeMoss, Hazel Ethel and Chet Goemaat; her siblings-in-law, Arlene Goemaat and Steven Ethel Sr.; and her great grandchild Mathew Phipps.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Jr. McKim (Roylyn) of Pleasantville, Leonard McKim, Kimberly Coop (Michael) of Ankeny, Tammy Post (Dustin) of Albia, Kelly McKim of Albia and Rodger McKim (Vicky) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Stacey Baucom, Doug McKim (Meghan), Molly McKim (John Martin), Meghan Coop, Austin Coop, Steven McKim (Dana), Brittany Post, Katlynn Post, Nathaniel Kaisand, Joshua Kaisand and Cassandra Long (James); her great grandchildren, Lucas, Mason, Weston, Donnie, Isaiah, Seth, Olivia, Steven Jr., Carson and Gabriel; her brother Junior Goemaat; and her brother-in-law Doc DeMoss. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, an open memorial has been established to Mill Pond Care Center in Ankeny.
