Caitlyn Gara Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2024, at the age of 16, Caitlyn Gara (Ankeny, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Stephen Gara and Joanne Gara; her siblings, Nicole, Kristen and Matthew; her grandparents, Angelo and Eilene; her pet Stewie; her grandparents, Donald and Carol Gara; and her cousin Mary Jane. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations made directly to the family in order to honor Cait's wishes to support the Tori's Angels Foundation, who provided the financial assistance necessary for Cait to receive treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City and to start a foundation in Cait's name to continue spreading the kindness and love she so freely gave to all.
