He was predeceased by: his mother Jane Holler; his grandparents, Leland, Loretta Kono, Delton Holler, Charles and Billie Rosenberger; and his niece Audrey White.
He is survived by: his father Vince Kono; his stepmother Tina Kono of Reasnor; his son Owen Kono; his siblings, Michelle White of Des Moines, Rebecca Kono (Alex Hartman) of Reasnor, Ashley Cleghorn (Joshua Kingery) of Des Moines, Jacob Drew (Vicki) of Newton and Joshua Drew of Des Moines; his grandmother Laura Holler of Altoona; his partner's children, Abby Collins (Mauri Castro), Becca Collins and Kaitlyn Collins; and his grandchildren, Mateo and Julian. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
