She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Kimball Sewell and Ora Sewell; and her brother Dean. She is survived by: her husband James Nelson; her children, Dea Nelson Green (Jerry) of Johnston, Chip Nelson and Brian Nelson (Joni) of Plymouth, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Chase Nelson (Holli) of Plymouth, Abby Bilyk (John) of Colorado Springs and Alex Nelson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and her great grandchildren, Rowan Nelson and Blake Bilyk.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ankeny First United Methodist Church or the Iowa Genealogical Chapter.
