The passing of Barbara Lee Lawson (Ankeny, Iowa), born in Fairfield, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Gardner and Albert Royalton "Slim" Gardner; her husband Warren "Bud" Lawson; her son Lance Lawson; and her siblings, Rose Abbey and James Gardner.
She is survived by: her daughter Laurie Wells; her grandchildren, Nicki Meston (Nate), Erin Ford (Kody) and Rabe Lawson; her great grandchildren, Kate, Zack, Finn, Oliver, Audrey and Lydia; and her brother Jerry. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Prior to Covid, the family would get together every Sunday for cheese and veggie trays followed by dinner ordered in!
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to Easter Seals of Central Iowa Child Development Center or ChildServe Rehabilitation Unit in honor of Bobbie.
