She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry McKinney and Anna McKinney (Hicks); and her husband Richard Humeston. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Smiley (Jim) of Marshalltown, IA and John Humeston (Jill) of Ankeny, IA. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Boone or Sunny View Care Center Activities Dept. in memory of Barbara Humeston.
