He is survived by: his wife Jeanine Caponigro of Ankeny, IA; his children, Mickey Cook of Minneapolis, MN, Mark Caponigro (Jenn) of Athens, GA and Matthew Caponigro (Tiffany) of Ankeny, IA; his grandchildren, Nate and Ellie; and his siblings, Mary Treanor (Denny) of Polk City, IA, Frannie Channon of Waukee, IA and Diana Nagel (Roger) of Des Moines, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
