He is survived by: his wife Patricia Budnik of Ankeny, Iowa; his children, Rene Friedrichsen, Lori Ellis (Randy), Stephen Budnik (Marcia) and Candice Groth (Jason); and his siblings, Daniel Budnik, Ellen Rein (Otto), Linda Rein (Albert) and Cassie Chenevert (Joey).
