It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Jones of Ankeny, Iowa, born in Chariton, Iowa, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Jones and Lois Jones; his brother Bill Jones; his mother-in-law Enes Logli; and his nephew Kelly Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Jones; his sons, Andrew and David Jones; his half-brother Richard Jones; his siblings-in-law, Peter Logli (Rebecca) and Wadene Jones; his nephews, Bryan and Zachary Jones; and his niece Tanya Graham. He is also survived by cousins and in-laws.
