He is survived by: his mother Veronica Rose Lutter (Schmitt); his wife Karen Marie Nehring of Ankeny; his children, James "Jim" Lutter (Beth) of Carroll, NE, Melissa Hughes (Casey) and Kevin Lutter (Emily) of Kelley; his grandchildren, Alex Hughes, Claire Lutter, Audrey Lutter, Logan Hughes, Josie Lutter, Paige Lutter and Finley Lutter; his uncle Jim Schmitt; his siblings, Kathy Wilgenbusch (Ken), Terry Lutter, Mark Lutter (Kathie), Dale Lutter (Cindi), Lisa Lutter and George Lutter (Sharleen); his parents-in-law, Marvin Nehring (Mary), Diane Sennert (Larry), Dwayne Nehring (Vicki) and Mary Ewalt (Michael); and his friend John Patrick (Wanda).
