It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Lynn Simon of Anita, Iowa, born in Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mardell Simon and Harold Simon of Anita, Iowa.; his son David Lynn; his wife Susan Simon (Sam); his siblings, Gary, Ronald and Janel Will; and his brother-in-law Bud McCann.
He is survived by: his nephew Jay Marnin; his grandson Zachary Simon (Tavi) of Lake Forest, CA; his siblings, Bette McCann of Wiota, Janiece Anderson (Denney) of Visalia, CA and Rick Simon (Shellee) of Anita; his sister-in-law Jorene Simon of Aurora, CO; and his niece Cheyenne Simon of Los Alamitos, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
