He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Wittrock and Frances Wittrock (Roth); his wife Jeanette Hannasch; his grandson David Drees; his siblings, Alfred, Jerry, Charles, Clarence and Marjorie Steinkamp; and his siblings-in-law, Walter Tigges, Alvin Berger, Edwin Steinkamp and Arlene Wittrock.

He is survived by : his children, Sheryl Drees (Larry) of Adair, IA, Brian Wittrock (Julie) of Carroll, IA, Don Wittrock (Lisa) of Anita, IA and Tom Wittrock (Wendy) of Wiota, IA.; and his siblings, Merlin Wittrock of Carroll, Dorothy Berger of Lohraville, IA and Velma Tiggs of Carroll, IA.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.

“So sorry to read of Ron's death on Christmas day. He and jeanette were good friends and supporters of both me personally and of St. Mary's. His commitment, skill and personal character made him an admirable stalwart in the community of Anita. Never seemed there was a bad time to call on him.
